New year, new possibilities. With 2018 only a short time away we decided to take a moment and reflect on the things we want to improve on and help make the new year better than the last one. Every year there’s plenty of new possibilities when it comes to deciding how to tackle all the games that come out over the next few months. So as time ticks down on 2017 here are our gaming resolutions for 2018 (let’s hope we stick to them).
Alex S. – Actually finish games… again
It was my resolution last year… and its the same thing again. I’m terrible at making progress in games. Oh I’m fine at starting them, but when it comes completing the many titles in my backlog? I’m completely hopeless. At my current count I’ve started but yet to finish 27 games and I’m nowhere near close to wrapping any of them us. So this is it. I will start finish games and it won’t be my resolution for a third year in a row.
Jacob S. – Finally finish the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
For those who’ve followed our goals last year know that I wanted to branch out my gaming horizons and go about purchasing a different console other than Nintendo hardware. This has led to me getting my first gaming PC and a PS4 and a whole slew of new titles to play such as The Witcher 3. The only problem with all of this is that I never had the chance to finish the game as I’ve been preoccupied with review copies and all of my other consoles to play with. It’s certainly isn’t a bad problem to have as The Witcher 3 is such a fantastic game (from the 40 hours I’ve put into it so far), but getting the time and actually sitting down in front of my TV and beating it is my biggest goal for 2018.
